“We are looking forward to our new classic car show and auction in Van Alstyne, Texas. After considering several locations to conduct two events per year, we have now found a venue and home with the City of Van Alstyne that we can establish a long term event and bring North Texas and the DFW area a long awaited consistent classic car show & auction”. Rick Duncan, President of Duncan’s Auctions and founder of The Lone Star Classic, said. “We are looking forward to this first inaugural event on May 14, 2022 and the following Fall event as well. It is an honor to work with city personnel who have a vision of growth and prosperity.”

It has been a rewarding experience watching the construction of the new Central Social District Park in Van Alstyne taking form and more fulfilling to be involved in the development of new events materializing as a result of the new park” Kandi Hessel, Municipal Events Specialist of Van Alstyne, said. “I am very excited to have The Lone Star Classic Car Show & Auction on May 14, 2022 conduct their first event and more excited that it could possibly be a twice a year event every Spring and Fall bringing people nationwide to our great city.
